SEO in 2026: Why Search Intent Matters More Than Keywords

  Have you wondered why your content is not being served even when the keyword is well-populated in it, and someone else’s is?    It happens when your keyword matches the query, but your content misses the point.  In 2026, that's not a penalty; it's the algorithm working exactly as intended. There's a strange thing that happens when you spend enough time inside Google Search Console. The queries driving the most traffic to a page often have nothing to do with the keywords you deliberately optimized for. A page built around " digital marketing for clinics" ends up ranking for "how do I get more patients without paid ads ", and converting better from that query than the one you chased.
